Kepler's Supernova
1604 Supernova Multiwavelength studies are essential for discovering the details of supernova remnants. Young remnants, such as Kepler's have several distinct components which show up best at different wavelengths. The Chandra X-Ray Space Telescope observes across the X-Ray spectrum. The Hubble Space Telescope observes in visible light and in infrared and ultraviolet wavelenghts on either side of the visible spectrum. The Spitzer Space Telescope observes across the infrared spectrum.
