Images taken by Cassini's visual and infrared mapping spectrometer show surface features on Titan.Infrared radiation passes through Titan's atmosphere unaffected.
These are composite false-color images. The infrared wavelengths used to build the images are invisible to the eye. The images are rendered visible by substituing red blue and green light for three infrared radiation bands.
