In the upper third of this image, two wheel tracks run straight down a steep, rocky slope from the top to the bottom of the photo. The slope is one of the walls of Endurance Crater. Some small flat rocks have been displaced by the rover's wheels. The rover's wheels are at the bottom edge; the underside of the rover's chassis is at the top edge.

Down We Go!
Rover wheels get a "toe-hold" as Opportunity ventures down the steep, rocky side of Endurance Crater.
