Parallax

Whenever we move our point of view, foreground objects appear to change position more markedly than distant objects. The effect is called parallax. Click to switch views.

Look across the room or out a window and move your head from side to side. Look from a moving vehicle, or as you walk along. Whenever your point of view changes, you see parallax movement.
