47 Tucanae, also known as 47 Tuc or NGC 104, is a globular cluster in the constellation Tucana. It can be seen with the naked eye (visual magnitude of 4.0). Through binoculars or a telescope, the cluster appears about the size of the full moon. It is approximately 14,700 light years away from Earth. It contains over a million stars. It is about 120 light years across.
