An Equatorial Map
To see beyond our northern horizon limit, we would have to move north. The further north we go, the more of the northern celestial sphere we would see.
Crossing the equator and moving into the northern hemisphere would allow us to see to the north celestial pole. We would then be able to complete our picture of the whole sky.
