This image set explores the use of a pair Pentax DB100 Digital Binoculars for taking notes in the field. The images in this sequence were captured with the camera set to 1024x768 pixel size and "better" compression rate. The DB100 can fit approximately 150 such images in its inbuilt memory. The image above shows the full frame at reduced resolution (46% of original size). The blue rectangle marks a 480x360 pixel crop area on the original. The images that follow are full resolution 480x360 crops. The images were taken in January 2003 on the Vasse River in Busselton South West Western Australia. |
