Another telescope view, this time captured on a CCD chip by the 4-meter Blanco
telescope at Cerro Tololo, Chile. Since CCDs are more sensitive to light than
film, more stars have been rendered visible. (Note: The vertical bars through the brighter
stars are CCD artifacts. When a sensor cell fills with charge, it flows into adjacent cells
in the same row. High resolution view.
