After Newton discovered the spectrum of visible light, we wondered if it continued beyond red and violet.

  • Radio Waves
  • Microwaves
  • Infrared Light
  • Visible Light
  • Ultra-violet Light
  • X-rays
  • Gamma Rays

Much of our knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum has been gained in the last 100 years.
