Universe - Expansion - Big Bang - Inflation

Each expanding bubble represents a universe like ours.

The mathematical theory of inflation was developed to fit the evidence of the expansion of our universe. The theory allows the possibility of other universes forming in the same manner as ours. It allows for the endless production of such universes. Each universe would be separate from all the others. The matrix into which new universes emerge expands along with the universes. The universes would never meet or merge and there could be no communication between them.
